OUR PURPOSE
Make technical learning accessible in Michigan.
Michigan Data & AI Community connects people across Detroit, Ann Arbor and Southeast Michigan through practitioner-led meetups, demos, conferences and student-oriented programs.
We focus on applied knowledge: what people built, what they learned, and how others can benefit. Platform communities may differ, but people and relationships are the connective thread.
We welcome new and experienced speakers, students, independent professionals, employers, universities, volunteers and sponsors.

Michigan Data & AI Community is an independent, volunteer-led initiative and is not separately incorporated as a 501(c)(3). Day of Data Detroit uses the SQL Saturday community event framework. Participation in the community is not a promise of employment or certification.
